0

Microsoft has invited users to test the Windows 365 Boot cloud service. Devices that have been upgraded to Win11 22H2 can try to access this service and boot directly into Windows 365 Cloud PC.

Microsoft says the original intent of Windows 365 Boot Cloud Services is to allow users to boot directly into the Cloud PC login screen and immediately access cloud account services without launching other applications.

Microsoft says no other steps are needed to access Windows 365 Cloud PCs, and users can use virtual desktops immediately after logging into their accounts. This service is very useful for users who need to access a PC in multiple locations.

Microsoft has not opened Windows 365 Boot to all users, the requirements are as follows:

  • Win11 terminal device (Win11 Professional or Enterprise)
  • Need to join the Dev channel Windows Insider members
  • Microsoft Intune Administrator privileges
  • Windows 365 Cloud PC License
