Audi to launch entry-level electric cars in 2027

0

Recently, Audi announced that it will launch a new entry-level pure electric car in 2027. This car will be positioned under the Audi Q4 e-tron and is expected to be named Audi A2 or Audi Q2.

“Audi Q4 e-tron”

Audi CEO Gernot Dollner did not reveal more news about the new car. He said that Audi has not yet decided which platform to use to build the new car. According to Audi’s current product naming plan, pure electric products will use even numbers in the future, and fuel models will use odd numbers, so it is a high probability that the new car will be named Audi A2 or Q2. In addition, Volkswagen has previously announced that it will develop a new generation of pure electric golf (panoramic view car). Perhaps this new Audi model is related to a sister car.

“Audi Q6 e-tron”

The Audi Q6 e-tron was just released a few days ago. This car is built on the PPE platform and will be introduced into China in the future. Audi has earlier launched the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron, in addition to Audi e-tron, Audi e-tron GT and other products, and the electric lineup is gradually improving. (Text/Car Home Chen Hao)
