Asus is getting ready to unveil the Zenfone 9 smartphone. The device’s promotional materials were recently leaked online, giving us a glimpse of the device’s form factor and specifications. Since then, users have been eager to learn more about the device’s official launch date and the device itself. The brand has officially confirmed the device’s launch date.
Asus Zenfone 9 launch date
The brand has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Asus Zenfone 9 on its website and social media handles. The launch will take place on July 28th, 2022. The launch event will start in New York at 09:00 A.M., Berlin at 03:00 P.M., and Taipei at 09:00 P.M. The launch will be streamed online on the company’s official website and shared on social media handles. The brand is yet to announce the launch timeline for more countries like India.
Apart from this, the brand has not confirmed anything about the device. However, in the shared launch poster, we can see the device from the front, having quite thick bezels around the screen. The complete specifications of the device are yet to get revealed.

Asus Zenfone 9 specifications (rumoured)
The Asus Zenfone 9 is tipped to feature a compact 5.9-inch Super AMOLED panel manufactured by Samsung with a 120Hz high refresh rate. The device is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. In leaked promo material, we can see the device’s front having a side-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
According to rumours, the device will have a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX 766 lens and a secondary ultrawide lens. It will have a 4300mAh battery and, most importantly, a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is also said to be dust and water-resistant (IP68).
