The update log has not been officially released by Apple, so it’s unclear what specific aspects have been improved.

Apple previously released a firmware update for the Studio Display, primarily to improve the Center Stage feature for the built-in webcam.

Attached is Apple’s official introduction:

When you use video apps like FaceTime on compatible iPad models or a Mac connected to a Studio Display, Center People uses machine learning to adjust the front-facing Ultra Wide camera. The Center People feature helps keep you and the person next to you in the frame as you move around.

Foreign technology media 9to5Mac has upgraded the firmware on the Studio Display monitor but did not find a significant improvement in the Center Stage function. So the media speculates that it should be a routine bug fix.

Apple usually publishes relevant changelogs after macOS 13.3 is out of beta. The Studio Display monitor is currently on sale on Apple’s official website in China. The standard glass version starts at 11,499 RMB, and the Nano-texture nano-textured glass version starts at 13,499 RMB.
