Apple pushes new firmware to AirPods Pro 2 headphones (6A305)

Apple today for the use of Lightning port and USB-C port AirPods Pro 2 headphones, the update rolled out the internal number 6A305 new firmware, higher than the 6A303 update released on October 10th.

Apple has not officially released an update log for the firmware, and it’s unclear exactly what new features and functionality have been introduced. Apple added several new AirPods Pro 2 features in iOS 17, such as Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, and Personalized Volume, so there may be other improvements coming with these updates.

Users can’t manually update their AirPods to the new firmware version, it’s simply installed automatically when the AirPods are connected to an iPhone via Bluetooth.
