Apple pushed the macOS 13.2 Developer Preview Beta 2 update (internal version number: 22D5038i) to Mac computer users, 27 days after the last release.
Registered developers can download the beta through Apple Developer Center and, after installing the appropriate description profile, can obtain the Beta through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings.
The macOS Ventura 13.2 update introduces support for Apple ID security keys, allowing users to authenticate using physical hardware rather than digital device codes. The security key provides additional protection for Apple ID, replacing the current authentication code provided on the secondary device when logging into a new device, logging into iCloud, using the Apple Store, and more.
