Apple iPhone 15/Pro series phones are equipped with physical SIM card slots

Apple’s new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are still equipped with a physical SIM card tray (outside the United States). It is rumoured that only the European version of the model supports eSIM. did not appear.

Apple’s official website confirmed that all four iPhone 15 models can still be used with nano-SIM cards in countries and regions such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Singapore, and Turkey. Compatible; and supports eSIM in most countries.

Apple also mentioned that although the machine supports dual SIM dual standby, only some operators currently support dual VoLTE. And certain restrictions apply.

In fact, Apple has removed the SIM card tray from all US iPhone 14 models since last year, forcing users to use eSIM. At the time, Apple promoted eSIMs as more secure than physical SIM cards because they couldn’t be removed from a lost or stolen iPhone.

Apple also says users can manage up to eight eSIM cards in iPhone settings, eliminating the need to obtain, carry and swap physical SIM cards while travelling. However, Apple iPhone 13 and newer models can only have up to two eSIMs activated at the same time.

Apple also provided a support document that lists operators around the world that support eSIM technology, including multiple operators in Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan, China.
