Apple announces USB-C ports for its AirPods Pro, EarPods headphones

Apple’s fall new conference, Apple for the iPhone 15 series of cell phones to replace the USB-C interface, and officially announced its AirPods Pro, The EarPods headset also updated the USB-C interface, but Apple did not update the corresponding interface for the AirPods (third generation).

Apple claims that USB-C offers more flexibility and that users can now use their phone’s USB-C port to charge AirPods Pro earphone cases or listen to music with USB-C EarPods headphones.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously claimed that Apple would announce AirPods Pro headphones with USB-C ports at this conference and that other specifications wouldn’t change except for the port change, so it’s clear that Mark Gurman did bet on the content of the conference.

Previously equipped with Lighting interface AirPods Pro (second generation) headphones, driven by the H2 chip, compared with the previous generation of headphones, the active noise reduction and permeability mode has been upgraded to a certain extent, in the Apple China official website of the listed price of 1,899 yuan.

The current price of AirPods Pro (second generation) and EarPods headphones with USB-C interface has not changed. AirPods Pro (second generation) with USB-C interface is priced at $1,899 and will go on sale from September 22nd; EarPods headphones are priced at $149, and are now available for purchase.
