According to the latest chart released by Display Supply Chain Consultants, a screen supply chain consulting firm, screen orders for Apple’s iPhone 14 series models are expected to drop 39% year-over-year in April and 23% in the March-April period, compared to the iPhone 13 series.

The report notes that Apple has lowered its iPhone 14 series screen orders, mainly due to industry inventory adjustments, macroeconomic downturn, inflationary pressures and weak demand.

The supply chain report shows that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max panel shipments are 22% and 23% higher than iPhone 13 Pro models, respectively.

The report also compares screen orders for the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 13 mini models, with the following conclusions: Screen shipments for the Plus models are up 59% compared to the mini models. This indicates that consumers are demanding more of the iPhone 14 Plus compared to the iPhone 13 mini.
