Apple today released the iOS 17.2 RC candidate version update, which specifically improves the shooting capabilities of the telephoto lens for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
According to the iOS 17.2 RC update log, Apple said that after installing this update, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will improve the focusing speed of the telephoto camera when shooting distant objects.
It is unclear how much of the speed improvement this time has. Users currently using iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max can try focusing on distant objects for testing.
Note: In the iOS 17.2 RC update log, it is also mentioned that the ability to shoot spatial videos has been improved for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
Apple is expected to officially release the official version of iOS 17.2 next week.
