Apple Fellow Phil Schiller has deactivated his Twitter account, which he closed for unknown reasons.

Phil Schiller’s Twitter account now shows up as “not present” when users look up “pschiller” online.

Schiller has a significant number of subscribers on Twitter, about 265,800, and he also follows more than 240 accounts. Schiller used the account to promote various Apple products and services, after all, he previously served as Apple’s senior vice president of global marketing and now serves as an Apple Fellow.

There is no official explanation for Schiller’s account closure, but Twitter has undergone many changes in the weeks since Elon Musk took over, which may have contributed to the decision to close the account. Musk’s moves included massive layoffs and increasing demands on employees to reinvigorate the Twitter service, while various changes led many users to consider other services.
