Judging from the Cinebench R23 test results he gave, the processor finally scored 16854 points, which is about 25% faster than the Ryzen 7 6800H “Rembrandt” and faster than the fastest Rembrandt flagship processor Ryzen 9 6980HX About 15%, also stronger than the 13th generation Core i5 and 12th generation i7, but the single-core performance is still unknown.
Let me briefly mention the parameters here. The Ryzen 7 7840HS adopts the latest Zen4 architecture, based on the latest TSMC 4nm process, 8 cores and 16 threads design, equipped with 40MB cache, the base frequency is 3.8 GHz, and the highest frequency can reach 5.1GHz. At the same time, it integrates Brand new Radeon 780M core display.
It’s worth mentioning that if you need more cores and cache, you should wait for something like the AMD Ryzen 7045 in the Dragon Range lineup, which offers 16 cores, 32 threads and stronger cache performance.
The Ryzen 7 7840HS retains the same 35-54W TDP design as other Phoenix processors, but with impressive performance, this APU is expected to arrive later this quarter, and there should be plenty of laptops to choose from.
