Storage maker ADATA today (5) released its latest financial results, reporting consolidated revenue of NT$2.67 billion in July and cumulative consolidated revenue of NT$21.14 billion from January to July this year.

The company said that the global inflation effect and supply chain into the inventory adjustment period, PC and consumer demand continues to be weak, memory prices are still facing downward pressure in the short term. However, as upstream OEMs slow down their investment, the DRAM industry should outperform NAND Flash, further shortening the price downturn cycle.

ADATA points out that while DRAM supply is gradually recovering, NAND Flash is still under pressure to reduce prices in Q3 due to new production capacity, competition from advanced processes and continued cost reductions.

ADATA also emphasized that in addition to quickly reducing memory inventory, the company will accelerate the promotion of gaming, electric tricycle and industrial control products to improve overall operational efficiency.

In terms of ADATA’s product mix in July, DRAM accounted for 48.3%, SSD, the second largest product line, accounted for 33.7%, and memory cards, USB drives and other products accounted for 18%. From January to July this year, memory products accounted for 47.8% of overall revenue, SSDs for 32.7%, and memory cards, USB drives and other products for 19.5%.
