At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the Ye S7 under Honda’s new electric brand “Ye” officially debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. The new car is positioned as a medium-sized pure electric SUV and will be produced by Dongfeng Honda in the future. It is expected to be officially launched at the end of this year.

From the appearance, Ye S7 uses through-type LED daytime running lights, with a bifurcated design on both sides, which looks like a wide “H” shape from a distance. The new car adopts a trapezoidal grille design with a slender air inlet in the middle. The latest H logo of the Ye brand also appears on the front of the car. Its shape is a Honda LOGO with the outer ring removed.

Looking from the side of the car body, the new car adopts a blackened ABC pillar design, combined with black trim strips on the fenders and the lower part of the door, giving it a good sporty feel. Looking at the rear of the car, the new car is equipped with a through-type taillight design, and the overall shape also presents an H shape, echoing the front of the car. The rear of the car is equipped with a spoiler, and the black + orange rear surround further enhances the layering of the rear of the car.

From the interior, the new car is equipped with a long and narrow full LCD instrument panel and a large central control screen. There is a row of touch buttons below the screen to facilitate the operation of commonly used functions. In terms of other configurations, new cars are equipped with dimming canopies, streaming media rearview mirrors, ambient light strips, in-car headrest speakers, wireless charging pads, etc.

In terms of power, the new car is expected to have two drive modes: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. Among them, the single-motor rear-wheel drive relies on a high-power rear-wheel drive motor to achieve a 50:50 weight distribution front and rear. Dual-motor four-wheel drive relies on two sets of high-power drive motors at the front and rear to accurately distribute power to the front and rear wheels according to different road conditions and driving needs.
