The car is internally codenamed CS1E and is built on the PMA2+ platform. It was previously reported that it will be unveiled within the year and will compete with mid-sized cars such as Tesla Model 3, BYD Seal or Xpeng P7.

In other aspects, it was previously reported that Zeekr CS1E will support 800V high-voltage fast charging, be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 cockpit chip, and use Zeekr’s self-developed intelligent assisted driving system.
