The new G9 electric SUV and P7 sports sedan are now available for pre-order in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. Both models are currently on display at the e-car expo in Stockholm, Sweden, from Feb. 3 to Feb. 5. Deliveries of the Xpeng P7 will begin in June and deliveries of the Xpeng G9 will begin in September.
Deliveries of the Xpeng P7 all-electric sports sedan to Norway begin in August 2021. The model is undergoing a mid-life refresh, and while the exterior remains the same, the automaker says the new Xpeng P7 has a longer range, faster charging, and a new interior design.
The Xpeng G9 is a new all-electric midsize luxury SUV that was launched in China last September with six models priced at $309,900-$469,900 and has been delivered in volume production. As a new all-electric mid-size SUV from Xpeng, the G9 is based on X-EEA 3.0 electrical and electronic architecture, equipped with Xpilot 4.0 assisted driving system, etc. The interior features a dashboard + dual-link screen design.
The Xpeng G9 will be the first production vehicle based on the 800V high-voltage SiC platform in China, with a range of 200 kilometers in 5 minutes of charging; the 800V high-voltage charging system will be laid in mass production within the year, with a maximum power of 480kW and a maximum current of 670A.
In terms of power, Xpeng G9 will provide two sets of power systems: a single motor with a maximum power of 230kW (312 hp) and a dual motor with a maximum power of 175kW (238 hp)/230kW (312 hp), equipped with ternary lithium battery, with a range of more than 700km.
In January 2023, Peng delivered 5,218 units, including 2,249 units of G9. In addition, the new and improved P7 will be unveiled soon. The new P7 has a new body color, dual LIDAR front end, Dana audio system with 860W, 4WD version with 4.1 seconds acceleration and Brembo calipers as standard, optimized maximum charging power of 175 kW and fast charging from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes, WLTP range of up to 576km on a single charge, electric tailgate, electric suction door, heat pump and an electric tailgate. It also features a power tailgate, electric suction door, heat pump and heated steering wheel.
