Xpeng car internal letter exposure: plans to release two new cars in 2023

On the first day of work after the holiday, XPeng car chairman and CEO He Xpeng issued an internal letter to all Peng car staff. He briefly reviewed the events of 2022 and proposed new vehicle planning, delivery targets and internal expectations for 2023.

According to the letter, in 2023, Xpeng Auto plans to launch two new vehicles and replace three existing older models, for a total of five models, with the goal of delivering 200,000 vehicles for the year.

In terms of intelligence, Xpeng’s next-generation full-scene intelligent assisted driving product, XNGP, is being developed at an accelerated pace, with key features planned for launch in the third quarter of 2023. Xpeng G9’s driverless cab has already started operating in Guangzhou. He Xpeng emphasized the need to make autonomous driving the core label of Xpeng Automotive.

By the end of 2022, Xpeng has delivered a total of 258,710 vehicles, including 120,800 vehicles in 2022 up 23% from 2021. In the internal letter, He Xpeng said the goal for 2023 is to deliver 450,000 vehicles, or nearly 200,000 vehicles in 2023.
