The Redmi Note 12 series is now available for pre-order on Xiaomi Mall and Jingdong, in both standard and Pro versions. The series will also include the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 12 Pro+, as is customary for Xiaomi products.

Information on the Jingdong platform shows that the deadline for pre-orders for the Redmi Note 12 series is 23:00 on 27 October, suggesting that the Redmi Note 12 series will be released on 27 October.

In Xiaomi’s latest preview posters, a number of Redmi Note 12 series models are shown in silhouette, where it is clear that the new models will feature a curved screen design with a large curvature. It’s worth noting that there are very few new thousand-dollar models with curved screens at the moment, and it seems that the lowest Honor X40 is reaching a price point of 1,499 yuan.

So far, we still know very little else about the Redmi Note 12, with the only other revelation being @DigitalChat’s claim that it will be powered by a MediaTek Tiangui 1080 chipset.

The official preview says that the Redmi Note 12 will feature the world’s first 2 “awesome” new technologies, 11 series firsts and the biggest upgrade in Note history.

In September this year, three new Xiaomi models passed the 3C certification, believed to be the new Redmi Note 12 series, with information showing that the series supports 67W, 120W and 210W fast charging.

MediaTek announced a new mid-range chip earlier this month, the Tiangui 1080, which uses TSMC’s 6nm process and has slightly updated performance compared to the Tiangui 920 chip, with an octa-core CPU: 2 ARM Cortex-A78 cores at up to 2.6GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2GHz. the GPU is still Mali-G68.
