The fast charging technology in the world of smartphones is getting better generation by generation. From 18W to 33W, to today on 120W, we have come a long way. The 120W is currently the industry-leading charging technology which can fuel up a 4500mAh battery to 100% in around 15 minutes. Now, Xiaomi has showcased an upgraded charging technology which sets a new benchmark in the world of fast charging.

Xiaomi’s 210W charging tech; what’s new?

Xiaomi has previously tested numerous fast charging technology with its Xiaomi 11 Ultra smartphone. However, they did not really exceed the 200W charging mark. The fastest one was able to charge the device from 0% to 100% in just 8 minutes. Adding further to it, an upgraded Xiaomi’s fast charging tech with 210W of electricity rating has been certified.

Well, we may not expect any drastic improvements in the 210W charging technology, as compared to what Xiaomi has tested with 200W on Xiaomi 11 Ultra. However, it should be pretty evident that the brand may have broken the benchmark of charging the battery from 0% to 100% in just 8 minutes.
