In response, Xiaomi said: The deposit will be refunded without reason within 7 days. After 7 days, the vehicle configuration will be automatically locked, and consumers can also proactively lock the configuration in advance. Once the order is locked, the vehicle will enter the production stage, the configuration cannot be modified, and the deposit is non-refundable. In addition, the current car configuration of the Founding Edition has been locked, and consumers will lock in their orders after paying a deposit of 20,000 RMB.
Some netizens posted on the social platform: “I grabbed the first Xiaomi car at 10 o’clock and locked the configuration by mistake. I clicked the button outside the order, and the prompt button did not clearly tell me that I would not refund it.” Another netizen said, “The configuration lock button of Xiaomi car is not there.” Second reminder, if you touch it by mistake, you will know that 5,000 cannot be refunded.”
Xiaomi SU7 was officially launched. There are three versions of the new car. The standard version starts at 215,900, the Pro version starts at 245,900, and the Max version starts at 299,900. Data released by Xiaomi shows that Xiaomi SU7 is set to exceed 10,000 in 4 minutes; 20,000 in 7 minutes; and 50,000 in 27 minutes.
