The news of the new series of Xiaomi and Redmi tablets is gradually becoming clearer, IT House said on August 1. According to Weibo blogger @DigitalChat, Xiaomi is developing a Snapdragon 8 series high-end true flagship tablet.
The blogger now says that Xiaomi has already taken delivery of two new screens, one of which is a 12.4-inch LTPS (low temperature polycrystalline silicon) LCD screen with a screen resolution of 2800 x 1752p, and the other is a 10.61-inch a-Si (amorphous silicon liquid crystal display) LCD screen. The former is expected to be used in the Xiaomi Mi Tablet 6 series, and the latter is expected to be used in the Redmi entry-level tablet (expected to be equipped with MediaTek Xunqun processor).
The blogger said, “The Redmi K50S and the entry-level Redmi tablet with the Tiangui 8100 chip are not currently on the network, and the real iteration of the Xiaomi tablet 6 series has the Tiangui 8100 and Snapdragon 8 series flagship platforms under consideration, and the large size is also in the planning, but not yet finalized.”
