Xiaomi Redmi A1+ revealed: equipped with MediaTek Helio A22 chip, back fingerprint recognition

Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi A1 in India, an affordable entry-level smartphone, Now it seems that the company is gearing up to launch another A-series phone called Redmi A1+.

The device has recently been spotted on various certification sites and renders and detailed specifications have been revealed. As you can see from the images, the Redmi A1+ comes in three colorways, has a dual rear camera, comes with a waterdrop screen, and has back fingerprint recognition.

According to @Sudhanshu1414, the Redmi A1+ will have a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a touch sampling rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 400 nits.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 processor, the same as the Redmi A1, with 2GB of LPDDR4X memory and 32GB of storage space. In terms of software, the phone will run the Android 12 operating system.

In terms of imaging, the phone will have dual cameras on the back, including an 8MP main camera. The Redmi A1+ will come with a 5000mAh battery and a 10W charger.

It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro-USB port, dual Nano SIM slots, microSD card slot, VoWiFi, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
