Xiaomi Lu Weibing: Redmi Pad first entry tablet launched alongside Note 12

The Redmi Note 12 series will be released on Thursday, October 27 at 19:00, with the tagline “Image Awakening”, Redmi announced this morning.

Xiaomi’s Lu Weibing announced this afternoon that Redmi’s first tablet, the Redmi Pad, is scheduled to be released this Thursday, alongside the Note 12, positioning it as “your first entry tablet” and bringing three major upgrades to the entry tablet: flagship craftsmanship, a more eye-friendly screen, and a better experience.

The Redmi Pad, which has already been launched in India, features a 10.6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 2000 and a refresh rate of 90Hz. it also supports four speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning. The tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 chip and comes with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of storage. Redmi Pad comes with an 8000mAh battery with 18W of charging power.

The Redmi Pad features an 8-megapixel rear camera with a 105-degree field of view and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with FocusFrame support that tracks user movements during video calls. The Redmi Pad comes with MIUI 13, based on Android 12, and is guaranteed three years of software support and two major Android updates.
