Xiaomi announced the POCO M5 phone in India, powered by MediaTek’s G99 processor and priced from Rs. 12,499, or about RMB 1,100.
The MediaTek Helio G99 was released this year, based on TSMC’s 6nm process, with two Cortex-A76 cores at up to 2.2GHz and six Cortex A-55 cores at up to 2GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Helio G99 supports 108MP cameras, but not support Helio G99 supports 108MP camera, but does not support 5G connectivity.
The Xiaomi POCO M5 features a 6.58-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 50MP main camera on the rear, a 5000mAh battery, 18W fast charging, Bluetooth 5.3 support, and a leather-like rear shell.
