Although it will only launch in China, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 is trending across the internet for many reasons. Its design is one of the major reasons why this device is becoming a sensation. Adding momentum to the presence of this coming device is a feature that seems like a rip-off from Apple, its dual selfie camera centre cutout.

Xiaomi began promoting this device by sharing its rear design on its Weibo page, and it got heads turning. Now the company has shared the front design of their coming CIVI device, and it is a source of concern to many. The selfie dual selfie camera on this device is at the centre of the screen below the front-facing speakers. This design seems to get its inspiration from the iPhone 14 Pro series.

Ever since Apple put forth its latest Pro series, netizens have been divided about placing more than one sensor below the front-facing speakers. But brands like Xiaomi are not afraid of using something similar on their coming CIVI 2 smartphone. The dual selfie camera cutout on the screen of this device houses two 32MP sensors for crisp pictures.

Other specifications of this device (unofficial) include a 6.56-inch OLED FHD+ screen display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The processor on the device will be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, receiving support from up to 12GB of RAM. Its rear camera will house a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.

We are also receiving reports that Redmi, a Xiaomi spin-off, is planning to integrate a notification system similar to the iPhone 14 Pros on their coming device. This might also be present on the Xiaomi CIVI 2 because it’ll launch with a camera system similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. More information on these devices as well as its dual selfie camera cutout will come from the company.
