So far, the Xiaomi 13 series includes only two models, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Both devices were made official in China in December 2022. The Pro model is expected to be showcased next month at MWC 2023. After its global launch, the company is likely to shift its focus to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which will replace the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra that debuted in the global market in 2021.

Some reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s launch has been postponed. However, a Chinese tipster has claimed that the news about it getting delayed is not true since the internal plan of the company is to announce it as early as April this year.

To recall, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in March 2021 and made it available for purchase in April. Later, it was made available on the global market on a limited scale. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which debuted in July 2022, has remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will release in China as well as the global market.

The source also said that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s highest configuration will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. As far as price is concerned, it will remain the same as the previous generation, which means its base model could be priced at CNY 5,999 ($887).

The leaker also said that Redmi will also hold a launch event in April in China but did not share more details on it. Considering that the Redmi Note 12 series was made available in October 2022, it is likely that the performance-focused Redmi Note 12T Pro lineup may debut in April this year.
