Xiaomi 13 Ultra appears in IMEI database: global launch expected in April this year

Last year, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra would be available globally, just over a month after the Xiaomi 12S Ultra was launched. Since then, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been secretly tested by Xiaomi engineers to get it ready for launch in multiple markets.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is now in the IMEI database and is expected to be released in April this year.

Chinese model 2304FPN6DC

Global model number 2304FPN6DG

xiaomiui reports that the new device will not be sold in India and that the first MIUI version of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be 22.11.5 for the China version and 22.11.28 for the global version.

In other words, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.

From previous revelations, the main highlight of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra (or Xiaomi 13S Ultra) will be Leica optics, and just like the other Xiaomi 13 models, this new model will probably also feature a 1-inch IMX989 outsider sensor, but with a few improvements over the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

Other details of the phone are still under wraps, but it’s expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen2, 2K screen and other hardware that comes standard on flagships.
