Xiaomi 13 series & MIUI 14 new product launch has been scheduled for December 1 (Thursday) at 7 pm. Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro use dual sizes.
According to the official Xiaomi preview, Xiaomi 13 standard version is for a straight screen, a custom high-end OLED straight screen, visual four equal edges; Xiaomi 13 Pro version is a double curved screen. In terms of body size, Xiaomi 13 is 1.61mm wide on three sides, and the widest is 1.81mm, with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.3%. The official poster shows that the Xiaomi 13 is 71.5mm wide, the upper left and right three bezels are 1.61mm wide, and the lower bezel is 1.81mm wide, with a centered perforated screen. In addition, Lei Jun said that in order not to pinch the hands, Xiaomi 13 front made a slight 2.5D, the back is four curved, plus 71.5mm width, “grip feels surprisingly comfortable”.
The microblogger @i Ice Universe said the Xiaomi 13 phone has a chin black edge of 1.81mm, surpassing the 1.95mm chin black edge record of the Samsung S22.
The blogger also revealed the Xiaomi 13 series’ tempered film, which also shows the new feature of nearly four equal bezels.
The new Xiaomi 13 series will come standard with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, built on TSMC’s 4nm process. Xiaomi 13 is expected to feature a 6.26-inch domestic OLED flexible straight screen, while Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 6.7-inch Samsung 2K E6 curved screen.
