Chinese mini PC company XCY (Xinchuang Cloud) launched a new product, the computer is equipped with an Intel Celeron N5105 processor, 8GB of memory and up to 256GB of storage space.

The XCY-X66 computer has four 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, ideal for DIY networking applications. The computer is tiny, measuring just 75 x 75 x 42mm (2.95in x 2.95in x 2.05in). The XCY-X66 starts at $257.

The starting price is for a model with 8GB of LPDDR4X memory and a 128GB SSD, but XCY also offers an 8GB+256GB model for $270. Or users can upgrade the storage themselves, as the computer supports an M.2 2242 slot supporting PCIe 3.0 NVMe or SATA storage. But the memory RAM is soldered on the motherboard and cannot be replaced by the user.

The XCY-X66 uses active cooling, and there are fans and ventilation holes at the bottom of the case, so it will not be absolutely silent. But it’s small enough to easily fit under a desk, behind a monitor, or anywhere else. Or you can take it with you, throw it in your bag, and take it from one place to another.

XCY means the computer supports Windows 10, Windows 11 and Linux systems. Four Fast Ethernet ports will make this system most attractive to users looking to run dedicated servers, firewalls or other network operating systems.
