Xbox Series X/S rolls out update to add party chat noise reduction

0

Microsoft released the latest update for Xbox Series X/S on September 6, adding the ability for players to suppress noise while conducting party chats, which can help players eliminate unwanted noise within the party while concentrating on the game, such as button presses from the handle, player breathing, and background noise. The feature is now available and players can update their Xbox to the latest system experience.

Players can also choose to turn off the noise reduction feature if they want to keep certain types of background noise, music in the party. Simply open the guide, find Parties and Chat, and select the off option.

In addition to the noise reduction feature, the console update allows a player’s friends to play the player’s shared games on their mobile device or PC via cloud gaming. (Some games require Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play in the cloud.)
