Wuqi Microelectronics now announced that it has finally successfully launched the first domestic 1×1 dual-band concurrent Wi-Fi 6 mass-produced chip WQ9101 after three years.

According to reports, the chip integrates 4 high-performance RISC-V CPUs, supports IEEE802.11ax and is backward compatible with IEEE802.11 a / b / g / n / ac protocols; adopts 2.4GHz / 5GHz dual-band architecture and supports DBDC dual-band Concurrent, as well as multiple high-speed interfaces and various peripheral interfaces, can provide industry-leading RF and baseband performance.

The company said that at present, this chip is mainly used in consumer electronics fields such as TVs, tablets, PCs, and smart speakers. Its performance has reached the international leading level, and it has reached in-depth cooperation with top brand customers.

Wuqi Microelectronics is a semiconductor chip developer, focusing on communications, semiconductors, electronics and other fields. Its products include Bluetooth, communications, AI, Internet of Things chips, etc. It will successfully mass-produce the first Wi- The Fi 4 chip that has been used in the products of manufacturers such as TP-Link.

The company also pointed out that its high-speed data transmission Wi-Fi 6 AP plan will be taped out next year, and the next-generation Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 and other high-end chip products are in the design and pre-research and reserve stages.
