In the “Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products” (No. 373) released today, a redesigned Wuling Hongguang MINI EV passed the declaration.
The appearance of the new car has changed significantly compared with the current model, and the front face and rear of the car have adopted more rounded design elements. The model that passed the declaration this time is a beige + white double colour matching design. The front face is matched with more rounded appearance parts on the headlights, license plate frame, etc., which looks much more refined.
The car provides optional appearance parts such as tailgate trim, roof, luggage rack, wheel hub and “Macaron” logo on the left rear side. The length, width and height are 3064/1493/1614 (or 1629) mm respectively. The distance is 2010mm, and the length and wheelbase are larger than the current model. For reference, the size of the current model is 291014931621mm, and the wheelbase is 1940mm.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 30kW electric motor, matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery, and the maximum speed is still 100km/h. For comparison, the current Wuling Hongguang MINI EV offers two power motors of 20kW and 30kW.
