WhatsApp announced that the deletion of information time from 1 hour to 2 days time

WhatsApp, the instant messaging software, recently announced that it has extended the time to delete messages from the original 1 hour to 2 days. To use this feature, users open the WhatsApp group or personal chat you sent the message to. Make sure to click and hold on the content you want to delete, click “Delete”, and then select “Delete for everyone” or “Delete for me”.

One caveat, though, is that in order for this feature to work all recipients must be updated to the latest version of WhatsApp or it may not be removed. Still, this could be a handy new feature that could help WhatsApp gain a bit of an edge over Apple’s iMessage instant messaging service. After all, Apple still doesn’t offer such a feature, and it will only be available when its new iPhone, iPad and Mac operating systems are released, probably this fall.
