WeChat has now released the official 3.8.0 update for Windows PC users, bringing several new features to support extracting and translating text content in images.
In 3.8.0, WeChat has also updated its group feature, which allows you to share group chats when inviting people into a group, and allows group administrators to top group messages. As usual, WeChat 3.8.0 also fixes some known issues.
Previously, WeChat supported migrating chats between computers and phones in version 3.7.6, allowing you to view the merged chats on your phone or computer after migration.
As a national social app, WeChat and WeChat had 1.299 billion monthly active users as of June 30, 2022, up 3.8% year-over-year.
