The 2022 competition received more than 600 entries from all over the world, 10 works were shortlisted, and three winners were finally selected. Among them, the appearance design award was won by Devashish Deshmukh and Swapnil Desai, designers working in Paris, France. China Design Designer Li Yingxiang won the award for his interior design work “Polestar Performance Stable”.
For the works in this competition, Polestar paid great attention and invested money. Based on the theme of “high performance”, the concept car has a length of 4.56 meters and a height of 1.07 meters. It uses strong and raised wheel arches and a streamlined outline to create an overall surface for low wind resistance, showing the image of an electric sci-fi supercar. The interior It is a single-seat suspended layout, in which the “floating” concept is inspired by the camera stabilizer, providing users with a new performance driving experience of “floating, comfortable and controllable” and expressing a driving concept design with “control” as the core.
