Recently, Volkswagen released the official photo of its ID.7 GTX Tourer model. The performance of this car is further improved based on the ID.7 Tourer. It is equipped with dual motors, which has an increase of 54 horsepower compared to the ID.7 Tourer, with a maximum power of 335 horsepower. It is expected that the new car will start pre-sales in Europe in the spring of 2024. Similar to the ID.7 Tourer, it may not be introduced to the North American market.

Looking at the new car, the overall appearance of the new car has not changed much from the ID.7 Tourer. The car adopts a new front surround shape, and the original vent shape on both sides has been changed to two triangular light groups, which enhances the sporty feel and makes it more refined. In addition, the internal shape of the front grille has also been changed to a diamond shape, with richer details.

On the side of the car body, all decorative details of the new car have been blackened, giving it a stronger overall feel than the regular model. The visual effect of the suspended roof is more prominent, and the luggage rack shape is still retained above. In addition, the vehicle also uses brand-new 20-inch five-spoke “blade” wheels, as well as “GTX” logo embellishment on the door. If you want a fuller visual effect, 21-inch wheels are also optional. The dimensions of the new car are expected to be the same as the ID.7 Tourer, with length, width and height of 4961/1862/1536mm, and a wheelbase of 2971mm. At the rear of the car, the vehicle uses blackened taillights with black decoration below, and the internal diamond shape echoes the front of the car.

As for the interior, the overall interior highlights a strong sports atmosphere, mainly black, with red details outlined. The new car also provides brand-new sports seats with 12-way electric adjustment, seat memory, seat heating/ventilation functions, etc. In terms of configuration, the new car provides AR-HUD, IDA voice assistance, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, etc. In addition, GTX models also provide intelligent assisted driving systems such as automatic parking and ACC adaptive cruise.

In terms of power, the Volkswagen ID.7 GTX Tourer, as a performance version of the ID.7 Tourer, will be equipped with dual motors that can output 335 horsepower and adopt four-wheel drive. In terms of energy replenishment, the car will use the same 86kWh battery pack as the ID.7 Tourer, which can charge 10%-80% in 30 minutes.
