At Vivo’s imaging strategy launch today, Vivo brought out its future layout in imaging, which includes a new self-researched chip for imaging. It is reported that this self-research chip, whose name has not yet been announced, has been upgraded from traditional ISP to AI-ISP in terms of architecture, which can realize high-precision AI computing with low latency and high energy efficiency.

With the improved chip architecture, this new self-developed chip has a data throughput rate of 1.3 trillion bits/s, a peak energy efficiency ratio of 16.3 Tops/w, and a 20% improvement in night video noise reduction compared to its predecessor.

In addition to this new self-developed chip, Vivo also announced at the conference the image technology matrix including the super-sensitive portrait system with Zeiss and the next-generation main camera CMOS with a 77% increase in light sensitivity.

Not surprisingly, all of these new technologies will be released soon on the Vivo X90 series officially meet with consumers.
