An image of the Vivo Y78+ has been shared by a tipster Panda is Bald. It gives the first look at the design of the smartphone. Rumors are rife that the device will be up for purchase starting April 23 in China.

The Vivo Y78+ has been spotted on platforms like Geekbench and Chinese certification sites like 3C and TENAA. The device has appeared with mode number V2271A on these platforms. Hence, it appears that the device will debut soon in the Chinese market.

The image released by the tipster shows that it will be the first-ever Y-series Vivo phone with a curved-edge display. This suggests that the device could be equipped with an AMOLED panel. The right edge of the device has a volume rocker and a power key. It appears that the device could be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The back panel of the phone has a dual-camera system with an LED flash. It will be available in black, blue, and gold color variants.

So far, reports have revealed that the Vivo Y78+ will come equipped with Snapdragon 695 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 13 OS. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The rest of the specs of the phone are yet to be revealed.
