Vivo Y22 launched in India: MediaTek Helio G70 chip

Last August, Vivo launched the Vivo Y21 phone in India, which is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P35 chip and starts at INR 15,490 (about RMB 1,350). Recently, Vivo launched a new iteration of the Vivo Y21 in India – the Vivo Y22 entry-level phone.

The Y22 features a 6.5-inch LCD waterdrop display with a screen resolution of 1612 x 720. In terms of performance, the Y22 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G70 chip and comes with 4GB + 64GB of storage and supports microSD cards. In terms of image, the Vivo Y22 phone’s front 8-megapixel selfie camera has a rear rectangular module with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera.

In terms of battery life, the Vivo Y22 phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 18W wired fast charging. In other aspects, the Vivo Y22 phone with a power fingerprint two-in-one button, retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, running the Android 12-based FuntouchOS system.

As for the price, the 4GB+64GB version of the Vivo Y22 phone is priced at INR 14,499 (about RMB 12,657.76).

The Y22 is available in two colors: dark blue and light green, with the light green color having a square stripe on the back of the Y22, making it more youthful and vibrant. vivo Y22 measures 164.30 x 76.10 x 8.38mm and weighs 190g.
