Vivo Y16 mobile phone released in India: Equipped with Helio P35 chip, price about RMB 877

Earlier this month, Vivo launched the Vivo Y22 entry-level phone in India. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G70 chip and features a 6.5-inch LCD waterdrop display. vivo has just released the Y22 phone, and then Vivo has released another new phone in India.

The Vivo Y16 entry-level phone has been launched in India, 91mobiles reported today. In terms of screen, the Vivo Y16 entry-level phone features a 6.51-inch HD+ resolution screen with a waterdrop front camera and a 1600 X 720 screen resolution with multi-touch support. In terms of performance, the Vivo Y16 entry-level phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 mobile platform with 3/4GB of RAM + 32/64GB of storage.

In terms of imaging, the Vivo Y16 entry-level phone features a 5MP camera on the front and a 13MP main camera + 2MP secondary camera on the rear. In terms of battery life, the Vivo Y16 entry-level phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 10W wired charging. Other than that, the Vivo Y16 entry-level phone runs on Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12.

The vivo Y16 entry-level phone is priced at INR 9,999 (approximately Rs 877.91) for the 3GB + 32GB variant and INR 12,499 (approximately RMB 1097.41) for the 4GB + 64GB variant.

The MediaTek Helio P35 chip is powered by an octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU with a maximum frequency of 2.3GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU with a maximum frequency of 680MHz. The Helio P35 is based on TSMC’s 12nm FinFET process and is designed for low power consumption and will provide long battery life.
