Vivo S15 full specifications revealed through TENAA certification

Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo S15 and Vivo S15 Pro smartphones this month in China. Rumors have it that the Vivo phones with model numbers V2199A and V2203A that were recently spotted on Chinese certification platforms such as 3C and TENAA could be the S15 and S15 Pro. So far, the TENAA listings of both phones have only revealed limited information on the dimensions, display size, battery capacity, and Android versions of both phones. Today, the vanilla variant’s TENAA listing got updated with its entire specifications.

Vivo S15 specifications (rumored)

The Vivo S15 has a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is unclear whether the device offers a high refresh rate. The images of the phone are not yet available in the TENAA listing.

It has a dual-cell battery, but the listing only mentions the rated size of one of its cells as 2,290mAh. Rumors suggest it may offer a combined size of 4,580mAh. The 3C certification of the phone has suggested that this device may come equipped with an 80W charger.

The device is powered by a 3.2GHz octa-core processor, which appears to be the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. It will come with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in storage. It does not feature a microSD card. Most likely, the smartphone will come with the Android 12 OS, which will be layered with the OriginOS Ocean UI.

The Vivo S15’s rear camera setup has a 64MP main camera. It is coupled with an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth assist lens. For selfies, it has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. It appears that the device will arrive with support for the IR blaster, among other connectivity features.  The smartphone measures 163 x 76.16 x 8.54mm and weighs around 190 grams.
