According to Blackmagic Design, the video color correction software DaVinci Resolve has landed on the Apple iPad today.

In October this year, BlackmagicDesign released DaVinci Resolve for iPad. Optimized for MultiTouch technology and the Apple Pencil, this release provides cut and color pages, allowing users to take advantage of DaVinci’s award-winning image technology, color correction tools and the latest HDR workflows on the iPad.

DaVinci Resolve for iPad is available as a free download from the Apple App Store, and users can also upgrade to DaVinci Resolve Studio for iPad through an in-app purchase.

Official introduction:

"Optimized for performance on Apple Silicon, DaVinci Resolve delivers up to 4x faster Ultra HD ProRes rendering performance on the new M2 chip iPad Pro. Users of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with the M1 chip will also get HDR support. Creators can send a clean feed color monitor output to an Apple Studio Display, Pro Display XDR or an AirPlay compatible display, so whether on set or in the post studio, they can easily use their iPad Upgrading.

DaVinci Resolve for iPad can open and create the same standard DaVinci Resolve project files as the desktop version of DaVinci Resolve 18. Supported file formats include H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes and Blackmagic RAW, and these file clips can be imported from iPad Pro internal storage and Photo Library, or external iCloud and USB-C storage drives."
