Valve intensifies cheating in Counter-Strike 2, if one person cheats teammates will be punished

0

V officially launched the “Counter-Strike 2” (“CS2” and “Counter-Strike 2”) game. “CS: GO” players can directly upgrade to the new version and experience a new Shootout under the engine.

According to the official update log of “CS2”, Valve has further increased its crackdown on cheating in the game:

  • When one or more team members are found to have cheated and are permanently banned, everyone else on the team will be punished by losing their rank and overall CS score.
  • In priority mode, players with a very high overall CS score are not allowed to join a team without players with a very high overall CS score.

Valve has been fighting against cheaters in “CS: GO” before. The latest “CS2” introduced new rules as soon as it was released, which seems to be a deterrent.

According to the game introduction, “Counter-Strike 2” is a free upgraded version of “CS:GO”, showing the largest technological leap in the history of “Counter-Strike”. Counter-Strike 2 is powered by the Source 2 engine and features realistic, physically based rendering, state-of-the-art networking, and upgraded community workshop tools.

The “Counter-Strike” series pioneered gameplay focused on completing goals in 1999, and “Counter-Strike 2” will not only retain this classic element but also present the following features:

  • New CS overall score and updated priority mode
  • Global and regional rankings
  • Upgraded and overhauled map
  • Revolutionary dynamic smoke bomb
  • A gaming experience unencumbered by refresh rates
  • Newly designed sound and picture effects
  • All items from “CS: GO” have been migrated to “CS2”
