Ron Huang, Apple’s vice president of sensing and connectivity, revealed in an interview with YouTube anchor Brian Tong that the H2 chip in the USB-C AirPods Pro supports wireless frequencies in the 5GHz band for ultra-low latency and less interference, and comes with a Lightning shell The H2 chip in the AirPods Pro 2 is limited to the 2.4GHz band.

He said that it is equipped with this 5GHz band that allows the updated AirPods Pro 2 to support Vision Pro’s lossless audio.

It was reported that the new USB-C AirPods Pro 2 has been upgraded to the IP54 level (the original version is not dustproof and only IPX4 water-resistant). In addition to this, Apple says it will enable lossless audio with ultra-low latency, thus providing a perfect TWS solution through Apple Vision Pro.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said at Apple’s autumn new product launch event this month that developers are very excited about the Vision Pro headset, which will be launched early next year as planned.
