Ubisoft’s next-generation “Assassin’s Creed” orthodox sequel is named “Assassin’s Creed: Mirage”, but no specific release date has been announced.

According to the latest interview, Assassin’s Creed: Vision promises a return to a more focused, smaller-scale action-adventure game, that is, a return to the classic gameplay before Assassin’s Creed: Origins, but it’s not just copied and paste.

In a new interview with GamesRadar, Assassin’s Creed: Visions creative director Stéphane Boudon promises that Ubisoft is using modern technology to create a world richer than you remember from the classic Assassin’s Creed games.

"The hardware capabilities and expansive expertise we developed also resulted in a richer, denser map than the original Assassin's Creed, which for us means more gameplay opportunities, more and more in-depth System interaction with incredible detail."

For example, the crowd stealth system in the early Assassin’s Creed games was very simple, just walk into the crowd. The system will return in Assassin’s Creed: Visions but in a more realistic and natural way.

Boudon also said that these early Assassin’s Creed stealth mechanics have been updated, including the return of classic tools such as smoke bombs and throwing knives, and players can also upgrade tools in unique ways to suit their playstyle.

“Assassin’s Creed: Mirage” will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, PS5 and Amazon Luna cloud gaming platform in the second half of this year.
