Foreign community Reddit users have shared more information about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora). Ubisoft is developing the game to bring players into a fully explorable open world, u / Eht_Hctins netizens on the r / GamingLeaksAndRumours board shared this information.

The original post has now been removed, and gaming media outlet IGN says the user has had several previous accurate revelations, so his information is still very credible.

The user said that, as one would expect in a game where you play as the local Na’vi, players will be able to tame animals and use them for traversal and combat. They say the game will have looting and crafting mechanics, which is not uncommon for Ubisoft’s games.

In addition, players will need to host exploration areas to find quests, reducing the traditional game of fighting and doing quests to upgrade the formula, but allowing players to explore as freely as possible. The world will be dynamic, the progress of the story will shape the landscape, weather events will affect the game and so on.

Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier was originally planned to be released at the end of last year in conjunction with Avatar: The Way of Water. But Ubisoft announced during its earnings call last July that it was delaying Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier until 2023/2024. The game, which has been confirmed to have the same canon as the Avatar movies, will explore the western frontier of Pandora, featuring jungle and grassland environments.

Avatar: Pandora’s Frontier depicts a tribe of people living on the plains who appear to live with a giant grassland animal that has yet to appear in the movie. This animal looks a lot like an elephant, just like the Tulkuns of Pandora with the baleen whales of Earth. The trailer also highlights the lush landscape of Pandora and the other unique fauna seen in James Cameron’s film.
