Twitter Enables New Option to Allow Blue Subscribers to Hide Blue V Identities

0

The media reported in March this year that Twitter is about to launch a personalized service for Twitter Blue users, allowing the blue V badge to be hidden.

The source @biertester tweeted recently that under the “Profile Customization” menu of the Blue subscription, an option called “Hide your checkMark” was found. After enabling it, the user can hide the blue V identity logo.

Once the user hides the blue V identity logo, other users will not be able to distinguish it except for exclusive functions such as post-editing tweets and supporting long tweets.

Note: The Blue V identity logo is a signature feature of the Twitter Blue subscription and is part of Twitter CTO Elon Musk’s plan to combat spam and bots on the platform while creating a sustainable long-term business model. Previously, only high-profile users could get the blue tick. Now, for only $8 a month, ordinary users can also get certified.
