Trend Micro recently issued a press release stating that its antivirus solutions are not compatible with Microsoft’s April Cumulative Update.
In the press release, Trend Micro clearly stated that the User Mode Hooking (UMH) component of several of its endpoint solutions is not compatible with the cumulative update released by Microsoft on April 11 this year.
The following Windows versions that Trend Micro Endpoint Solutions are not compatible with:
- Windows 11 22H2
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows 10 1809 (64-bit)
- Windows 10 (RTM) (32-bit)
Trend Micro has indicated that it will expand compatibility by updating the UMH component. If you are currently using Trend Micro products, you can wait for the official release of the update before deploying the update Win10, and Win11 in April Update.
