Toyota recently showed a unique square steering wheel “Neo Steer”, it has a very peculiar shape in addition to the design concept and its function is also unique: inspired by the motorcycle handlebars, the throttle and brake functions are integrated into the steering wheel.

According to Toyota’s official press release, the irregular shape of the steering wheel provides users with a wide field of vision, while the floor space adopts a “no-pedal” design, enabling the driving position to be “unrestricted and smooth in and out”.

The official picture shows that the right side of the steering wheel is equipped with two toggles, the outer one corresponds to the gas pedal, and the inner one corresponds to the brake.

This design allows for “hand-controlled driving”, and officials say it provides a safe and intuitive driving experience for those with lower limb impairments.

Toyota recently released a number of new concept cars, including the length of more than 5 meters of the electric version of the Landcruiser SUV, as well as claimed to be the Ford Maverick will be benchmarked against the purely electric concept of the pickup truck EPU.
