TikTok now announced that it will participate in the 2022 Germany Cologne Game Show, where it will bring a host of game content from manufacturers, including Sonic: Frontiers Unknown, Street Fighter 6, Multiverse Smash, and more.

Harish Salma, global head of games and sports at TikTok, said “The community on TikTok is growing, including a large number of emojis, friendships and creative videos related to gaming culture. This is not the first time TikTok has participated at the Cologne International Game Show. In 2020, we have already participated in the online Cologne International Game Show and are now looking forward to being part of the biggest gaming event again.”
The Cologne International Game Fair in Germany is an interactive game and entertainment fair. Cologne International Game Fair is jointly organized by Koelnmesse and Exhibition Centre Cologne.
Gamescom 2022 will take place from August 24-28, 2022 at Koelnmesse GmbH, Messeplatz 1, 50679 Koln – International Exhibition Centre Cologne, Germany. Nintendo, Activision Blizzard and Take-Two, among others, and the show is set to return in the future.
The last Cologne Game Show had an exhibition area of 140,000 square meters, attracting more than 700 internationally renowned game companies from 47 countries around the world to gather at the feast and compete together.
Although it is called the game show, besides electronic games, the show also involves electronic equipment, telecommunication equipment, software, certification agencies, after-sales service agencies, game extension products, game training institutions, game outsourcing services and providers, international game marketing planning agencies, game international property rights trading, game technology exchange and cooperation, etc.
